Sempervivum arachnoidum 'Clairchin': Small, green rosettes with heavy white webbing that helps them tolerate full sun. Each spring, 'Clairchin' produces lots of new offsets on short stolons, developing into a tidy clump. This variety in particular benefits from a layer of gravel top dressing to act as a barrier between the soil and its leaves, which helps prevent rot.
