This dimunitive Joe Pye has vivid color at a height appropriate for small gardens. 'Little Joe 'is also more compact in a container too. 'Little Joe' is easily grown in full sun to light shade, in average soil with consistent moisture. It is a cultivated variety of Eupatorium dubium (or Eutrochium dubium), a native of Eastern North America, found primarily along riverbanks, moist thickets, and sandy swamps.
