Ideal for small gardens, Hydrangea quercifolia ‘Munchkin’ (Oak Leaf Hydrangea) is a compact, well-rounded deciduous shrub noted for its showy foliage and cone-shaped flowers. Blooming in early to mid-summer, this Oak Leaf Hydrangea boasts a profusion of large conical panicles packed with white florets gradually turning pink as they mature. The lush foliage of deeply-lobed, oak-shaped, dark green leaves, turns mahogany-red as the nights grow cooler in the fall. Providing a long season of interest, Munchkin is a great hydrangea for small spaces. Developed by the U.S. National Arboretum.
