Your Cocktail Tree has is a combination of the Meyer Lemon and Key Lime, growing together in the same pot. Meyer Lemons are especially desired for their pleasant aroma and small shrub-like size which makes them well suited for gardens. The fruit is medium sized, short and has an elliptical shape. The rind is smooth, yellow and thin. The flesh is juicy, slightly orange, somewhat acidic and moderately seedy. Compact enough even for urban balconies and limited-space gardens, Key Lime will begin bearing small, juicy, thick-skinned fruit at an early age!The leaves are lush and glossy, the small white flowers (arising indoors in late winter, just when the house needs some color and scent!) are intensely fragrant, and the habit is upright and well-branched.
