This 2017 All American Selection Winner is a unique, miniature Bell Pepper. The 2.5” heart shaped fruit has crispy flesh and a slightly sweet flavor. It lives up to its name of Chili Pie as it is mildly hot when it matures to red. Good for eating fresh, adding color to salads or vegetable platters. They can also be grilled, roasted or stir fried. Easy to grow, this compact plant works well in containers or small garden spaces and can produce between 25 and 30 peppers. Because of its growth habit the plant may require staking.
