Small peppers with a mild, rich flavor are produced on this compact plant. This bright green to bright red, wrinkled pepper is milder than a jalapeno most of the time but depending on growing conditions may cause some of the peppers to be spicier and more pungent. It makes a great appetizer or side dish sautéed quickly in a little olive oil, also excellent for tempura, chili, or stir fry.
