A long, slender Asian type, Shikou's white flesh is in brilliant contrast to its dark, glossy, thin-skinned exterior that need not ever be peeled. The foliage is highly decorative: clean green heavily flushed and veined with deep purple, adorned with large purple flowers. Each Eggplant's calyx is deep purple-black as opposed to green, with beautifully reflexed tips, making this Eggplant even more gorgeous.
