Everblooming, Hemerocallis ‘Apricot Sparkles’ is a lovely Daylily that enjoys profuse blooms of perfectly formed, apricot trumpets with golden throats and ruffled petal margins, over anextremely long blooming period . The flowers look diamond-dusted and sparkle in the sun, hence the cultivar name. Each flower, up to 4 in. wide (10 cm), typically lasts no more than 24 hours (thus the common name ‘Daylily’), opening up in the morning and withering during the forthcoming night, possibly replaced by another one on the same scape (flower stalk) the next day. This extra early season Daylily is diploid and dormant (deciduous). Perfect for small gardens or containers!
