Liberty produces medium-sized apples with vibrant deep red skin and crisp, juicy flesh that tastes equally good fresh from the tree or transformed into pies, crisps, and preserves. The flavor profile balances sweetness with subtle tartness, making it a crowd-pleaser for any palate. Fruit ripens in mid-fall and stores remarkably well, extending your harvest enjoyment through winter months. This self-fertile cultivar sets fruit reliably on its own, though cross-pollination with compatible varieties increases yields significantly.
