Noted for its great fall color, Sedum spectabile ‘Neon’ (Stonecrop) is an upright, clump-forming, deciduous perennial with a striking foliage of thick, fleshy, light green leaves. Blooming in late summer and fall, a profusion of showy flowerheads packed with brilliant rosy-magenta, star-shaped flowers are on display. Both foliage and dead inflorescences remain attractive through winter, providing some additional interest. This sun-loving perennial is ideal for containers, alpine beds, rock gardens and other hot, dry spots. Very compact, this showy sedum is perfect for small garden spaces.
