The color is caused by high amounts of anthocyanin, a naturally occurring pigment that is high in antioxidants. When exposed to sunlight the green fruits turn a vibrant indigo that is almost blue in places. The meaty flesh has similar colors and has a balanced “tomato” flavor. Be careful not to pick to soon, the best flavors are created when completely developed sugars and acids are at their peak. It is hard to tell by color, but easier to gauge by feel when they start to soften.
Indeterminate

Determinate
Full Sun
Plant 2-3' Apart
86 Days to Maturity
